Your rent at 26 Hazeldean Terrace includes:
- Gas Central Heating (Set to 20°C, approx. 6 hours/day, with thermostats in each bedroom)
- Electricity
- Unlimited Fibre Optic Broadband (Up to 500MB/s)
- TV Licence
- Cleaning & Sanitary Products (Toilet roll, kitchen roll, washing powder, and shared cleaning supplies)
Gas, electricity, and shared supplies are subject to a fair use policy. Tenants may be charged for significant overuse.
Council Tax is not included. Full-time students are generally exempt. Non-students must arrange payment directly to the council.
Tenancy Dates
Tenancies are typically offered on a 12-month basis starting in September.
Mid-year lets will run until the next August, with the option to renew or leave at that point.
End of Tenancy Cleaning
A £100 cleaning fee is payable at check-out. This includes:
- Cleaning of your bedroom, kitchen, living area, and bathroom
- Waste removal
- Laundering of bedding
Simply pack up and hand back your keys — we’ll take care of the rest.
Deposit
A £400 deposit is required to secure your room. It will be returned in full provided:
- All rent is paid
- No damage has occurred
- The room is left in good condition
House Rules
All tenants must agree to our standard House Rules, which help keep the property clean and harmonious. These include:
- Regular cleaning of shared spaces
- Proper waste and recycling routines
- Respectful and considerate behaviour toward other tenants
These will be reviewed at check-in, and you’ll receive a copy to keep.
Check-In
We aim to personally welcome all new tenants. Check-ins are available between 10:00 and 22:00 daily.
At check-in we will:
- Sign two copies of your contract and house rules
- Give you a full tour of the flat
- Show you how to use all appliances (shower, oven, laundry, heating, etc.)
- Hand over your keys
Booking a Room
To book a room at 26 Hazeldean Terrace:
- Complete the application form with all required details
- Let us know your preferred room or budget flexibility
- We’ll send you a Booking Offer Email with room details and deposit instructions
- Once your deposit is paid, you’ll receive a Confirmation Email finalising your booking
