Rent at 7 Dinmont Drive includes:

- TV Licence
- Cleaning & Sanitary Supplies (Toilet roll, kitchen roll, laundry powder, and general cleaning products)
A fair use policy applies to gas, electricity, and household supplies. Significant overuse may result in extra charges.
Council Tax is not included. Full-time students are typically exempt. Non-students will be responsible for arranging payment directly to the council.
Tenancy Dates
Tenancy agreements typically run on a 12-month basis from September.
If a room becomes available mid-year, the tenancy will run until the next August, with the option to renew or move out at that point.
End of Tenancy Cleaning
A £100 cleaning fee is charged at the end of your tenancy. This covers:
- Cleaning your room and all communal areas
- Waste removal
- Laundering of bedding
All you need to do is pack your belongings and hand back your keys—we take care of everything else.
Deposit
A £400 deposit is required to secure your room. This is fully refundable provided:
- Rent is up to date
- No damage has occurred
- The room is left in appropriate condition
House Rules
All tenants must agree to the House Rules, which help ensure a respectful and cooperative living environment. These include:
- Regular cleaning of shared spaces
- Proper disposal of waste and recycling
- Consideration of fellow housemates
You’ll review these during check-in and be given a copy to keep.
Check-In
We aim to meet each tenant in person. Check-ins are available daily between 10:00 and 22:00.
At check-in, we will:
- Sign 2 copies of the contract and house rules
- Provide a full tour of the property
- Demonstrate how to use the appliances (shower, oven, washer, dryer, heating, etc.)
- Hand over your keys
Booking a Room
To book a room at 7 Dinmont Drive:
- Complete the application form in full
- Specify a preferred room or indicate flexibility within a budget range
- You’ll receive a Booking Offer Email with room details and deposit instructions
- Once the deposit is received, a Confirmation Email will finalise your booking
Bookings are only confirmed after the deposit has been paid and confirmation email sent.
